Proud to be part of the upcoming group exhibition at the internationally acclaimed Stephan Stumpf Gallery, Munich Title: DefianceMedium: Oil on woodDimensions: 30 x 40 cmDefiance explores themes of individuality, resilience, and the quiet strength required to stand apart. The painting presents a striking contrast between the subject’s steady, unyielding gaze and the sheep-shaped stickers surrounding them—symbols of societal labels and the pressure to conform.Through subtle yet deliberate symbolism, Defiance challenges the idea that belonging comes from blending in. Instead, it celebrates the dignity and power of embracing one’s true identity. The restrained palette and precise rendering heighten the introspective nature of the piece, drawing the viewer into a moment of quiet but unwavering resolve. This work continues my exploration of authenticity and the courage it takes to resist the forces that seek to define us.
