A little glassy reminder for this week 🔥🌿

I’ll be doing a live demo for Culture Night on Friday! 🔥👀🔥

We’ve still got spaces for our flameworking workshops at Leitrim Sculpture Centre:

Thursday 17th
Morning: 4 spaces available
Afternoon: 2 spaces left

Saturday 19th
Still plenty of room if you fancy a Saturday at the torch.

No experience needed, just come curious. We’ll cover the basics, get you safely set up at the flame, and you’ll leave having made something of your own in glass.

DM me or Dúlra to grab a spot ✨

Final weekend of THREADS ✨

Today and tomorrow are the last chance to see THREADS: Time, Memory and Material in the Chapter House, Cashel.

It has been such a special thing to curate and watch this exhibition live in this building. The light shifts, the glass changes, the old cases and architecture become part of the work, and the whole space seems to hold the stories differently each time you walk through it.

After all the planning, installing and site-specific problem-solving, it feels slightly surreal that we’re already at the final weekend.

Saturday 12 September
12–4pm + 6:30–8pm

Sunday 13 September
12:30–4pm

Come see it before we take it all apart. 🥲

A little look inside Of Sand and Ash at the National Design & Craft Gallery, Kilkenny.
✨
I recently spoke with for their Artistic License series about my own glass practice, and how that thinking carries into co-curating Of Sand and Ash with Ava Hayes.
🔥
This walkthrough offers a glimpse into that wider conversation through the many ways glass is being explored across Ireland today.

Very grateful to and delighted to share in collaboration with .

Install day one at the Chapter House ✨

Unboxing, unpacking and beginning to bring THREADS: Time, Memory and Material to life. A little chaos, a lot of glass, and some very curious Beasties keeping watch…

More tomorrow 👀

Rooted in the Glass Society of Ireland ‘Of Sand & Ash’ is a portrait of makers continually shaping what glass in Ireland can be. Moving through its chapters, visitors experience glass not as a single tradition but as a living, expansive field of making. Together, the works reflect the skill, generosity and momentum of a community expanding what glass can be.
🔥
The Glass Society of Ireland, in partnership with the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland, is delighted to invite you to the opening of our milestone exhibition, ‘Of Sand & Ash’ celebrating contemporary glass practice in Ireland.

Date: Thursday, 6 August 2026
Time: 2.30 pm

Feeling so grateful for my time as a resident artist at Leitrim Sculpture Centre, and for the beautiful community in Manorhamilton that made the experience so special.

🌱
This Saturday we gather to celebrate the closing of The Long Pause: Ecology of Ruins I at Leitrim Sculpture Centre, with live music from Brian Leach and Jane Willow.

A final evening for thanks, reflection, music, conversation, being together in the work, and opening the door to what comes next with Studio Dúlra.
