The Children's House, Thornhill was established in 1952 by Veronica Ryan, having first started a class in her own family home with six pupils two years earlier. She trained as a Montessori teacher at Sion Hill in Blackrock, Dublin, and as interest in the Montessori approach spread she decided to build her own school. Such a great day celebrating Phoenix and Scott’s First Holy Communion! The sun was out and the party was super. Well done to everyone who helped: the bakers, room clearers, sandwich makers, florists and cleaners! It takes a village or in this case a very special school community! 😇 😇 🤸🏿🤸🏻♂️🤸♀️ ☀️

So much to interest the young child .
Sometimes we forget the wonderful places we have to visit in Dublin. A great trip today into St Patrick’s Cathedral. A super tour and stained glass workshop.
