And that's a wrap on classes for our School of Radio and Podcasting for our Spring 2026 group! Next up will be the studio day in Marconi House where the students will have the opportunity to record their as-live shows as part of their project and get to experience a real life working radio studio! 🎧
Thank you to Patrick Haughey for a brilliant 9 weeks and to each of our guest lecturers working in the field, who provided us with expert advice to take beyond the classroom.
If you're interested in studying with us the next time we run this course in the autumn, email us at [email protected].
See you behind the mic! 🎙️

A big thank you to Annette Bossler, Managing Director of Maine International Consulting, for joining our International Business, Global Operations & Logistics students in Dublin online from Maine USA for an insightful project lecture and Q&A session.
Annette shared her expertise on policy, regulation, supply chain operations and logistics within the international offshore wind sector, offering valuable real-world perspectives. As a global expert in this field, she engaged with all 16 project groups, answering thoughtful questions on sustainability, AI, risk, offshore economics, government policy, global affairs, and future industry trends.
One of the key takeaways was the critical importance of people — a well-educated, experienced workforce remains a fundamental enabler in this rapidly evolving sector. Annette also provided important insights into managing supply chains in a strategically vital industry during a time of international volatility, as well as highlighting the growing importance of cybersecurity.
A particularly interesting discussion focused on the distinction between “clean” and “renewable” energy categories, helping students better understand the nuances shaping the sector.
A wonderful session facilitated by Programme Leader & Senior Lecturer, Carole Partridge and Lecturing Assistant Julia McGreal.
Very well done to our students as well for contributing to such an engaged and stimulating discussion, successfully connecting our academic programme with real industry insights in this important and evolving sector. 👏
