✨ Alumni Spotlight | Eabha Greville

From the Junk Kouture runway to launching Gravel&Stones - we’re so proud to celebrate one of our incredible alumni! 💚

Representing Moate Community School under the guidance of long-standing Junk Kouture teacher Pamela Keogh, Eabha’s 2022 design, “Nested in Tradition,” beautifully celebrated Irish heritage using repurposed materials including sheer tights, plastic strips, yarn and sheep’s wool.

 
Today, Eabha is bringing that same creativity to life through her customisable accessories brand, GRAVEL&STONES In her recent feature with IMAGE Media she describes Junk Kouture as “such an unreal place to start experimenting with fashion and learning how to turn an idea into something physical,” and even gives a special mention to fellow Junk Kouture alum eve betty nelson as one of the designers she follows and admires.
 
It’s always inspiring to see our alumni continue to grow, create and champion sustainable design.

A huge thank you to Transport For Ireland (TFI) for supporting our World Final, sponsoring the Glamour Award, providing Leap Cards that helped our international participants explore Dublin sustainably, and for connecting with Irish schools earlier in the year through the provision of transport materials from across the TFI network to inspire creativity and circular design.

Every journey starts somewhere…and some come full circle ✨

Today, we’re proud to introduce Full Circle Fashion: Delivered. A new initiative from Junk Kouture and DHL Express Ireland, launching in partnership with SoRoe Design.

Featuring Junk Kouture alumna, 2026 judge and founder of SoRoe Design, Roisin Heffernan, the campaign celebrates a journey that has truly come full circle. From stepping onto the Junk Kouture stage as a young designer to returning as a judge and now collaborating with Junk Kouture and DHL Express Ireland, Roisin’s story reflects the lasting impact of creativity, opportunity and community.

This initiative celebrates more than one designer’s journey, it celebrates the power of partnership, the strength of the Junk Kouture community and a shared commitment to championing Irish design, sustainability and creative futures.

Since kicking off our partnership with Vision Ireland Retail in August 2025, it’s been an incredible journey filled with creativity, circular fashion and unforgettable moments.

From showcasing wearable art at Electric Picnic, to inspiring alumni content, the ReSparked campaign, the Vision Ireland Pop-Up Shop and Wearable Art Award at our World Final, and most recently the launch of Re-Made, giving Junk Kouture alumni the opportunity to create a festival look from pre-loved materials and have their work showcased at this year’s Electric Picnic, it has been an amazing year of collaboration.

A huge thank you to the Vision Ireland team for believing in the power of community, creativity and circularity.
We can’t wait to see what’s next.

What a year it has been with DHL Express Ireland and we’re not finished yet... 👀

From educational warehouse visits and behind-the-scenes learning experiences, to top-class photoshoots, World Final award presentations, Emily’s specially commissioned DHL-inspired design, and our brand-new Soundstage activation ahead of the Dublin City Final, it’s been an incredible journey together.

Thank you to the entire DHL Express Ireland team for embracing creativity, innovation and the next generation of changemakers every step of the way.
