"This is a play as indispensable and vital as the air we breathe"

We are overjoyed with our first review from Different Magazine for at Roma Fringe Festival

“Syria is for all of us”… this is the text that Rasha hands out to the audience

A must-see play… Which invites us to reflect, work through and understand!
A unique play…. Unique as it has no need for words and in fact the protagonist does not use any. The few words spoken, in voiceover in the background, are her thoughts expressed through her letters to her father, as her life becomes increasingly difficult. So difficult that she is forced to flee her native land and those she loves to seek survival and a future of hope. Her journey takes her 67 days, across the Mediterranean, to arrive finally in a safer destination… Italy.
This is a play as indispensable and vital as the air we breathe,
air that in Syria has become suffocating and intolerant due to war. Vital air that the Syrian people need to breathe again, air that is pure and good. “Syria is for all of us” ….let us continue to repeat this as a reminder that has become explosive and essential in our minds!
