ST FRANCIS 🏫

Superhero Week has been full of fun and creativity! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

We built different superheroes, designed amazing masks, and created our very own superheroes of the week. We also made the After School superheroes together! 💥✨

HERMITAGE 🏫

🍓🥕🍞 What a fun and exciting week we’ve had at our creche! 😍✨

Our little ones enjoyed lots of creative, hands-on activities while exploring the wonderful world of food 🌽🍉🥦.

👋✨ Through food-themed sensory tables, the children had the opportunity to touch, explore and play with different materials and textures related to food 🍋🍝. It was a week full of curiosity, discovery and fun!

🎨🖌️ The children also showed their artistic side by creating colourful watermelons and experimenting with different painting techniques using sponges, cling film and tempera paint 🧽🌈. We loved seeing their imagination and enthusiasm shine!

🥗📚 In addition, we explored the food pyramid and learned about healthy eating habits in a fun and age-appropriate way 🍌🥛🥕.

🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️ To finish the week, we celebrated our exciting Superhero Day ⭐💥 The children created adorable mini versions of themselves as little superheroes and were so proud of their wonderful creations!

RATHBORNE 🏫

This week at FSA, our curriculum theme was Healthy Eating and Our Favourite Foods, and the children had so much fun exploring different foods, learning about healthy choices, and talking about the meals and snacks they enjoy most. 🍎🥕🍓

Throughout the week, the children took part in lots of exciting activities including food-themed art, sensory play, and discussions about fruits, vegetables, and foods that help our bodies grow strong and healthy. They enjoyed creating colourful artwork using paint, printing, and craft materials, supporting creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression.

Today, we were also excited to celebrate Superhero Day as we raise money for LauraLynn. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️💛 The children had an amazing time dressing up as their favourite superheroes and taking part in lots of fun activities throughout the day for such a special charity.

CHURCHWELL 🏫

This week, the children have enjoyed all kinds of activities, from symbolic play to recognizing numbers. Some have been discovering sea animals, others explored life on the farm, while some learned about different cultures around the world!

We never stop learning here, but most importantly, we make sure to have lots of fun along the way 💛

ST EDMUNDS 🏫

👀👂👃👅✋ This week, our little learners explored the amazing world of the 5 senses! 🌎✨

Through fun and engaging activities, the children discovered how we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch 💛

They explored different textures, listened to exciting sounds, identified yummy and surprising flavors, smelled different scents, and observed colorful objects around them 🎨🎶🍋🌸

Throughout the week, they learned:

✨ How our senses help us understand the world
✨ To describe what they feel, hear, smell, taste, and see
✨ To be curious, observant, and expressive
✨ The importance of using their senses safely and mindfully

There were so many smiles, laughs, discoveries, and hands-on moments along the way 😍🙌

✨ A week full of fantasy, creativity, and magic at our afterschool ✨

On Monday, we built enchanted castles full of mystery and imagination 🏰
Tuesday was all about colorful dragons painted with tempera paints 🐉🎨
On Wednesday, we crafted brave warriors’ swords and majestic kings’ and queens’ crowns out of cardboard ⚔️👑
Thursday brought prehistoric fun as we decorated dinosaur eggs 🦖🥚
And on Friday, we ended our magical adventure by creating our own magic wands to make every wish come true ✨🪄

What an unforgettable journey through fantasy and imagination! 💫

☀️🏴‍☠️ This week at our afterschool, we sailed into an exciting Pirate Week! ⚓🌊

Filled with adventure, creativity, and lots of fun, our little pirates enjoyed activities full of treasure-hunting vibes 🦜✨

On Monday, we designed colorful Pirate Flags ready to lead our pirate ships 🏴‍☠️
On Tuesday, the children became real captains as they created their own “Design Your Own Pirate” characters 👒⚔️
Wednesday was all about sparkle and creativity with our amazing Pirate Rings 💍✨
On Thursday, we made fantastic Pirate Hats perfect for every little sailor 🏴☀️
And to finish the week in true pirate style, on Friday we created Pirate Passports ready for new adventures around the seven seas 🌍📜

We’re not sure who had more fun, the children creating or us watching their imagination come to life! 💛🌊☠️

HERMITAGE 🏫

👀👂👃👅✋ What an incredible week we’ve had at Hermitage! ✨

This week, our little explorers dived into the wonderful world of the 5 senses 🧠💛 through lots of fun, hands-on activities full of learning and discovery.

We explored new textures by touching different materials ✋🌈, experienced a variety of smells 👃🌸, identified and tasted new flavours 👅🍋, listened to exciting sounds 🎶🔔, and worked on our sense of sight 👀 by using awesome glasses and binoculars designed by the children themselves 😍🕶️🔭, and they looked so cool!

Every activity was filled with curiosity, laughter, creativity, and imagination ✨🥰. We love seeing our little ones learn through exploring, creating, and having fun together 💕.

It has truly been a magical week full of discoveries! 🌟

The children had so much fun using their eyes to spot colourful creations 🎨, their ears to listen to different sounds 🎶, their noses to explore exciting smells 🌸, their hands to feel new textures 🧸 and their taste buds to try yummy treats 🍓🍌.

Through sensory play, messy play and hands-on activities, the children explored the world around them while building confidence, curiosity and creativity 💛 Watching their excitement, laughter and little discoveries throughout the week was so special! 🌟
