We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated to our Help the Homeless collections.Personalised bags were made up and decorated with Christmas Cards and personalised messages from the boys. John [a former pupil] was overwhelmed by the support from the school. We are so proud of the boys and our school community. The bags will be distributed this evening and I'm sure they will bring a tear or two to the lucky people who receive them. Thank you all so much from all of the staff in Scoil Fhursa.

Thank you to all of the grandparents, parents and family members who came to our Grandparents day in Scoil Fhursa on Thursday. We were delighted to see so many people.

We were delighted to be invited to the official opening of the new playground in Kilmore West . Thank you to DCC. Mr. MacEoin's Senior Infant boys represented Scoil Fhursa. We are very proud of you all.

Happy Mothers Day to all of our mammies, aunties, grannies. Hope you all have a lovely day. Thank you to everyone for coming to our Mothers Day tea on Friday. The Junior and Senior choir were delighted to be singing for you all. Thanks to everyone for their help on the day.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
All schools have been directed to close tomorrow, Friday, due to the red weather warning. We will reopen as usual on Monday at 08:40. Stay safe.

Thank you to Members First Credit Union for the outstanding donation of €1500 which is part of the 10th anniversary celebration. We were the second highest school to open new student accounts this year. So, thank you to all of the parents and the boys for saving every week. Thanks also to Elaine Bonney for volunteering every Friday.
