This is a disappointing (although expected) development in the movement. The movement is now seen as a threat to many who are part of the establishment. I wonder why the school cannot embrace the civic action and participation of their students to further their educational, social and personal development? Have the principal and senior management ever had to strike or protest about an issue facing them which was unfair or unjust? Have they ever stood in solidarity with others doing so? And what a condescending attitude to call this movement "a tad infuriating'.. I'd love to see them all in a debate with Thunberg. I sincerely hope the students find strength in numbers and strike tomorrow.
