The maximum numbers of students in a class is 15 and the student will be in a class with students from all over the world. All of our highly experienced and qualified teachers are native English speakers.
We know that students learn better in a stimulating and supportive environment. That’s why our courses use a combination of traditional and high-tech, innovative teaching methods. All our courses are reviewed, developed and updated regularly.
It’s our job to ensure our students have a wonderful experience and of course improve their English, that is why we look after everything from the moment they arrive in Dublin. We can arrange for a friendly driver to collect them at Dublin airport and take them to their accommodation.
We will of course help with arranging their accommodation. Swan Training Institute has a wide selection of carefully selected host families that are regularly inspected to ensure the highest standards are met. All of our host families are friendly and interested in the students they host. Our dedicated accommodation officer visits each host family to ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained. Host Family accommodation is the classic option and students are welcomed into the family just like a family member. They can enjoy full board accommodation in a single or shared room. They will be provided with breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal during the week, and breakfast, lunch and evening meal at weekend for the duration of their stay. Most of our host families are located in the suburbs, so they can use one of three main methods of transport to reach the city centre - Bus, Train or Tram. (Travel pass is not included in the price)
Or maybe the student would prefer to be in our residential accommodation? (See attachment for more information on this).
Our experienced Junior International Summer Programme staff includes a Centre Manager, a Director of Studies, an Accommodation Officer, a Student Welfare Officer, and an Activity Programme Co-ordinator among our great teachers and other assistants to ensure everything goes smoothly and to make sure your student feels comfortable.
Our students come from all over the world including Europe, South America, Russia, the Middle East and Asia, so they will enjoy the company of an exciting and diverse mix of nationalities. Of course the students needs to enjoy after class time too, that’s why we have a dedicated Activity Programme Co-ordinator who arranges different activities and excursions for the students to enjoy in the afternoons, evenings and at weekends. This gives students the chance to discover Ireland, meet new friends, practise their English in a different environment, all with the added bonus of learning about Irish history and culture. Class is 09.00 – 12.30 every Monday to Friday, lunch is from 12.30 – 13.30 and the activity programme is from 14.00 – 17.00 each afternoon with a range of fun and educational activities and excursions. We include a full day excursion every Saturday. For students in residential accommodation – we organise evening activities. There is a disco every Friday evening.
