Our students learn basic dance technique and steps in the Mini Boppers and Big Boppers classes. Featuring music from the charts mixed with children’s classics and Disney movie and musical theatre favourites- the children learn routines to show off their new skills! Infant)

Little Ballerinas
Our little ballerinas dress up in lovely Tutus and explore the music and the stories of the great ballets learning from Swan Lake to the Nutcracker to Giselle. Little Ballerinas will learn all about the steps in a fun and interactive way! Students learn fundamentals of ballet like pointing and flexing toes, first position, skips, gallops, and of course twirling! (Pre-School/Montessori)

Disney Dancing
Our Disney Dancers learn much loved songs and dances from their favourite Disney Movies – everything from ‘Under the Sea’ in The Little Mermaid to ‘You got a Friend in me’ from Aladdin. With a real Musical Theatre feel the children are encouraged to perform in character and to become storytellers through movement, song and dance. (Pre-School/Montessori)

Mini Musical Theatre Dance
Dance in the style of hit-Broadway shows with Musical Theatre Dance at ITW. Dancers will study the movement from musical theatre productions such as Oliver, Hairspray, Annie, High School Musical, Grease, Wicked- sometimes even learning the original Broadway choreography! Get those jazz hands out and get ready to sweat with exciting musical theatre choreography. (1st Primary, 2nd Primary, and 3rd Primary)

Jazz/Commercial
Encompassing a wide range of commercial dance styles including Jazz, Street, Urban-commercial, and Jazz-Funk this class will focus on dance styles seen in music videos and on TV. Jazz/Commercial class is about evolving strength, technique, and style while focusing on attack and confidence. Learn amazing acrobatics and dances to your favourite pop songs in a fun, high-energy class. (Ages 13-18)

Lyrical/Contemporary
A fusion of modern, contemporary, and ballet, this class will focus on developing strength and flexibility with expressive, graceful choreography. Dancers will learn turns, leaps, fancy footwork, and partnering within the lyrical/contemporary technique to inspire personal artistry and creativity. (Ages 13-18)

ISTD Modern for Teens
Using the ISTD syllabus, Modern (a cross between Lyrical and Jazz) is an introduction to a structured Modern class with lessons in rhythm, technique, flexibility, musicality, and dance composition/choreography. The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) is the world's leading dance exam board, and is the only organisation that covers the full spectrum of dance examinations on a global scale. This class will provide the foundation for a career in dance as a teacher, a college student, and a professional dancer. Prestigious dance schools across the country use the ISTD syllabus. (Ages 12-18)

ITW Dance Company (for Seniors and Inters)
Want to dance like they do on DANCE MOMS and GOT TO DANCE? ITW introduces a new, high-quality Dance Company for talented young dancers and choreographers to develop their skills and create repertoire to have ready to perform. Membership is open to dancers with enrollment of any other ITW Dance class. Rehearsals will develop choreography to prepare for future performances. ITW’s Dance Company seeks members with a great passion for dancers who are committed to attending weekly rehearsals and classes. (Ages 13-18, Seniors and Ages 9-12, Inters)


Adult Open Zumba Classes
Zumba classes are now live at ITW!! Come join the party for an intensive dance fusion workout with Nina, our new Head of Dance. Zumba is an easy to follow Latin-based dance fusion work-out made to suit anyone and everyone. Go at your own pace to follow an intensive dance workout that combines all elements of fitness including cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, and a boost of energy every class! Our dance classes participate in the Irish Board Musical Theatre Exams every year and get the chance to perform in our in-house and Smock Alley Theatre recitals at Christmas and in May.
