Following the success of the Mystery Bus Tour to the Botanic Gardens in October, we had our end of year Mystery Walking Tour for parents on 20th May. There was a very good turnout for this HSCL-led event. The group started with a nature trail along the Broadmeadow and Ward riversides in Balheary Park. A heron and mallard ducks were spotted along the walk as the group strolled through Balheary, a beautiful green amenity in north Swords.
Our group of parents and guardians then walked to Swords Castle via Swords Town Park. There we had a guided tour of the medieval fortress which is one of the most significant Norman sites in Ireland.
At the end of the tour the parents went to a nearby café for a well-deserved lunch after a morning of walking. Overall feedback from the tours has been overwhelmingly positive as the participants said they enjoyed getting out to do something new and different while also meeting other parents. The tours have become a great opportunity for parents to meet and connect.
If you think you might be interested in participating in next year's HSCL tours for parents, Ciarán will advertise them on the usual platforms a few weeks in advance of them taking place.

Tys went on an end of year trip to Go Guest, there was fierce competition against each other using skills, logic and teamwork, through a variety of challenges. Well done to the winning team 🏆

Well done to our 'Go Green' winners. Over 200 of our students have achieved perfect attendance since our return from the Easter break.

Congrats to the 6th years on their victory over the teachers today in the annual Fun Day soccer game 🏆
