DIT Electronics Society Basically the reason that this club was founded was to give students an insight into electronic's.
This group not only applies to students currently doing a course involving electronics but anyone who is interested in understanding the different parts of a circuit or anyone up for having a bit of craic !

This is a cool example of a "Pedal powered cinema" from Dublin City Council.
We will be hoping to build and operate one these this week. If you want to get involved comment below or come along Tuesday 24th March to help assemble some bicycle generators.

We had a workshop planned for this Thursday 5th November, taking a computer apart and putting it back together. However the lecturer who would be running it is no longer available to do it this week, therefore we are postponing it to the following Thursday 20th of November.
We will keep you informed on the time and location of the workshop.

Tonight we are finishing off the light/dark sensor for those who haven't finished and we have some battery connectors also. You can also get more practice soldering.
Next week, on Thursday, there is a workshop taking apart a computer and putting it back together, it's a great way to learn how to build your own computer and places are limited so we'll be taking names tonight for those who want to attend.
