Our Awards Day at the Bonnington Hotel was a truly special occasion, celebrating the dedication, character, and achievements of our students across every aspect of school life πŸŽ“βœ¨

From the prestigious Student of the Year award πŸ† to the inspiring Pillars of Clonturk 🌟, we recognised those who embody the very best of our school values. Awards such as Classmate of the Year 🀝, alongside our Subject πŸ“š, Sport ⚽, and Cultural Awards 🎭, highlighted not only academic excellence but also kindness, resilience, teamwork, and creativity.

Each award tells a storyβ€”of hard work, quiet determination, leadership, and community spirit πŸ’« It was a powerful reminder that success comes in many forms, and that every contribution matters.

We are incredibly proud of all our award recipients and of every student who continues to make our school a place of ambition, support, and belonging ❀️ Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and your achievements inspire us all.
Congratulations to everyone who was honoured on the day πŸ‘ The future is bright πŸŒ…

6th year Graduation Part 1: Last Monday marked a truly unforgettable milestone as we gathered to celebrate the graduation of our 6th Year students πŸŽ“βœ¨ A night filled with emotion, pride, and reflection, as we looked back on years of growth, friendship, and shared experiences that have shaped this remarkable group ❀️

The awards ceremony was a particularly special moment, recognising not just achievement, but character πŸ† From Classmate of the Year πŸ‘ to our Pillars of Clonturk awards celebrating Pride, Kindness, Ambition, and Respect πŸ’™πŸ’›, each award told a story of dedication, compassion, and the positive impact these students have had on those around them 🌟

Students in the Creativity Strand of our Exceptionally-Abled Programme (EAP) recently took part in another enriching experience, attending a workshop hosted by historian Dr. Coleman Dennehy from Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT). The session focused on β€œMartyrdom in Reformation Europe”, giving students a fascinating insight into historical study and the experience of learning at third level. πŸ“šπŸŒ

Earlier this year, Creativity Strand students also had the opportunity to attend a lecture on β€˜Postmodernist Poetry’ alongside university students in the DCU School of English, further immersing them in third-level learning and discussion. ✍️🎀 Last week, all students involved in the EAP came together for the final assembly of the year, reflecting on the incredible experiences, workshops and activities completed across both the Creativity and STEM strands throughout the year. 🌟 From literature and history to innovation and critical thinking, it has been an inspiring year filled with ambition, learning and opportunity β€” and we cannot wait for another activity-filled year for EAP next year! πŸ’™
