Students in the Creativity Strand of our Exceptionally-Abled Programme (EAP) recently took part in another enriching experience, attending a workshop hosted by historian Dr. Coleman Dennehy from Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT). The session focused on βMartyrdom in Reformation Europeβ, giving students a fascinating insight into historical study and the experience of learning at third level. ππ
Earlier this year, Creativity Strand students also had the opportunity to attend a lecture on βPostmodernist Poetryβ alongside university students in the DCU School of English, further immersing them in third-level learning and discussion. βοΈπ€ Last week, all students involved in the EAP came together for the final assembly of the year, reflecting on the incredible experiences, workshops and activities completed across both the Creativity and STEM strands throughout the year. π From literature and history to innovation and critical thinking, it has been an inspiring year filled with ambition, learning and opportunity β and we cannot wait for another activity-filled year for EAP next year! π
