Following the Waste Subcommittee’s tutorial, we have now set up a temporary collection point on campus for Ecobricks! ♻️
If you have any leftover plastic that can’t be recycled try to see if you can fill up a plastic bottle to make it into a brick which in turn can be used for art installations or even furniture making 🎨🪑

One of our very own TCD Alumni, Kez Wright, has started a petition calling on our government to put recycling bins in public spaces ♻️
Kez Wright founded TCD Plastic Solutions’ (which is now ourselves ) 2017 petition which led Trinity to commit to becoming a plastic-free campus 💪
This shows just how much power a petition can have so please sign and share it as much as you can, the link is in our bio! 💌

We are so fortunate to have these speakers so check out their accounts and join us on Friday at 12pm if you want to learn more about how to cut down your plastic waste, but also what can be done with it when it just can’t be avoided 🌍

TerraCycle is a company who has set up schemes to collect non-recyclable waste and turn it into something new ♻️
