I've mixed feelings about the end of this project with Farrell Furniture, Office of Public Works and Atlantic Technological University.
On the one hand I'm so thrilled that we delivered what we set out to do but I'll miss working with the wonderful Carl McAteer, Nathan F., John Hewer, Jeremy Madden and Paul Biesty
A huge thanks goes to all the staff in Farrells, ATU and OPW who supported this project, and to Cathy Winston who kept us all on the straight and narrow over the past 12 months.
Thanks also to CIRCULÉIRE and Irish Manufacturing Research for having the vision to support a real world pilot on material reuse in furniture manufacturing.

Thank you to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Ireland for funding the project and to The Heritage Hotel in Laois for supporting our request for as few single-use items as possible.
Great to see pencils instead of pens and refillable water bottles and reusable ceramic cups (although we ran out of two at the end of the day!)

So impressed with the ethos and quality of the heritage brand in Foxford, Co Mayo
In addition to a great on-site store and cafe, their product and factory is imbued with over a century's worth of legacy and knowledge.
They're participating in the funded Circular Upholstery Textile (CUT) Project I'm working with on, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it takes them.
