If parents don't respect teachers, their children won't either" ๐งโ๐ซ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ
Children learn all their values at home, and respect for teachers is no exception. It's not surprising when a parent talks to a teacher disrespectfully, and then it all makes sense - why the child misbehaves in class or is unable to respect the educational authority within the four walls. ๐ค๐ซ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ๐ฌ
Lack of respect used to be quite common not so long ago, when students addressed their teachers with an emotional barrier between them, reflected in their language. Students addressed their teachers with "usted" (the formal version of "you" in Spanish), without using the informal version "tรบ". They even stood up when the teacher entered the classroom. Maybe it's just language to you, but in reality, it was a form of respect towards authority...and this is being lost. ๐๐งโ๐ซ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
In Spain, in 2009, platforms were placed in classrooms to raise the teacher's level and give them a better view of the class, hoping to reduce the number of times they had to call out students. However, this did not instill authority and everything remained the same. The subjects included in the curriculum, such as "Education for Citizenship", also did not produce the expected results. What is necessary is to recover those basic values, and this will not be achieved if it is not done from home, no matter how many measures are taken in educational institutions. ๐ซ๐๐จโ๐ซ๐
Teachers should not allow any kind of disrespect, and they should realize that although there is a sense of equality between students and teachers, there are roles that should not be forgotten, roles that must be fulfilled, and imaginary lines that should not be crossed. ๐

In a society that has become more permissive, students insult teachers and nothing happens, and they have even gone as far as to physically assault them without any consequences. However, if a teacher does anything, then the consequences can be imprisonment. So much protection for the student is harming them...and in many cases, it translates into harassment of teachers. In this permissive society, low-intensity violence is allowed, which does not have physical aggression but daily contempt. ๐ซ๐ค๐ค๐๐จโ๐ซ
If students do not respect authority at home, they will not respect their parents...and they will not respect anyone outside the home either. Also, if they do not respect the figure of the teacher and speak disrespectfully about their work at home, their children will learn this and then express it in the classroom. It is the fault of a permissive society, and young people are not really to blame for this lack of respect, as they do what they see. ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ๐
