And to mark the closing, we're hosting GradX Creative Connections 2026 : Connecting Creative Talent with Industry

You are invited to GradX Creative Connections 2026, an afternoon and evening of exchange, insight, and discovery marking the final day of the TU Dublin School of Art and Design, Media and Mechanical Engineering Graduate Exhibition. This event will take place on Thursday 4th June 2026, in East Quad, TU Dublin City campus, Grangegorman, D07 XFF2.

GradX Creative Connections brings together industry professionals, alumni, staff, and graduating TU Dublin creatives to celebrate emerging talent and create meaningful connections across the creative sector.

Across presentations, screenings, exhibitions, talks, and informal conversations, guests will have the opportunity to engage directly with graduating students, explore new ideas, and connect with the next generation of designers, artists, makers, performers, and media practitioners.

The programme includes afternoon and evening sessions across a range of disciplines, with a Dean’s Reception offering a shared moment for conversation and networking.

Darleane C Hoffman (Chemistry) was an American nuclear chemist, known for her contributions to the discovery of heavy elements and her work on superheavy elements. She was involved in the team that first synthesized elements 104 and 105, contributing to the periodic table’s expansion.
Maria Keil studied painting at the Lisbon School of Fine Arts. She quickly migrated to other visual art forms: graphics and advertising design, illustration, furniture, scenography, costume design, tapestry, and tile design. She created several urban installations in Lisbon that are a contemporary heritage of the capital’s tile legacy. Designed by Caitríona Ní Mhathúna.

Ada Yonath (Crystallography) is an Israeli crystallographer who received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2009 for her work on the structure and function of the ribosome. Her research revealed how ribosomes assemble proteins, providing vital insights into the mechanisms of life.
Marjaana Virta is a Finnish graphic designer known for her award-winning book designs and typography work. She collaborated with philosopher Esa Saarinen, culminating in a collection of printed products and textiles.

Vilma Hugonnai (Gynecology) was one of the earliest female gynecologists in Hungary. Hugonnai made significant contributions to the study and treatment of gynecological diseases, including pioneering techniques in obstetrics. She was a trailblazer for women in medicine at a time when opportunities for women in the field were limited.
Tine Baanders was a Dutch illustrator, graphic designer, and typographer. She is known for ex-libris designs and protective book covers. At the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes (1925 world’s fair) in Paris, she was awarded a Diplôme de Médaille de Bronze.
