It's that time of year again! Audits starting 20th Feb, between 10am and 5.30pm! *Cue passive aggressive group chat message re: leaning tower of dishes*

Hi guys - I would strongly encourage residents to attend the focus group coming up on February 8th on the Role of the RA (Residential Assistant) if you have any feedback, suggestions, or are interested in the role yourself for next year! Email [email protected] to confirm your attendance, or send me a message for further info! :)

Don't panic about getting to the RDS next week - the SU runs a FREE shuttle bus before every exam, which leaves from the terminus across from Centra! Get there early and give yourself plenty of time - stick the RDS into Google Maps so you can walk there if all else fails, and best of luck to all!

Stuck for a lift to the RDS Exam Centre?

UCD has a free exam bus to the RDS, funded by the Students' Union. Timetable for it is outside the library, be sure to check it out. 📚📚

P.S. If you think SU Shop Coffee is too expensive then use a refill cup to get a 20c discount per coffee. A refill cup is just a flask or one of those reusable plastic cups. ☕☕

For those of you who plan to study late in the library or Astra Hall over study week/exams, please be aware that this service is available for when you're walking back to your residence! "Walk Safe" is a campus service which students and staff can use by calling 01 716 7000.

Use Walk Safe for a member of UCD Security to es**rt you from one campus location to another (eg. from the Library to your car)

This service is available during Autumn and Winter Semesters from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. 7 days a week.

During the Spring and Summer terms, it's available from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. 7 days a week.

Don't forget that, due to works in Ashfield, fitness classes will take place in the Glenomena social space from now until October 23rd! :)

ResLife Fitness Classes will be moving to Glenomena from Monday 10th October until 23rd October to facilitate building works in Ashfield. The Glenomena Social Space is located in House 1 (the building with the ResLife splash).

A reminder that housing audits start from Monday 10th! Speaking from experience, don't neglect your hob, microwave, fridge or bedroom floor (nice opportunity to start a cheeky bin rota with your roommates if that's been an issue so far)!

From Speed Friending, Cooking Classes, a trip to Dundrum, Book Club and Fitness Classes, there's no reason to be bored this Freshers Week! If you haven't gotten down to the Freshers Tent yet, do it before all the best goodie bags are gone!
