Learning Irish in real Life
Practicing Irish in real life 🇮🇪
This was earlier in my journey — now I’m in Week 7 and still learning every day 💚
I went into a teddy bear shop and tried speaking Irish 😅
If you speak Irish, help me out.
Teach me a word or correct me!

Yesterday I went out to practice my Irish at the St. Patrick’s Day parade 🇮🇪💚
It was so loud and packed I couldn’t even see or hear properly 😭
but I still tried 😅
I’m really enjoying learning Irish in real life, step by step ☘️

Any plans for St Patrick's Day?😊
Do you speak Irish?
Today, I went out to practice Gaeilge on the streets of Dublin. I spoke with strangers, Garda officers, and anyone kind enough to help me practice.
I'm learning Irish step by step through real conversations.

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, and during my lunch break I tried saying “Happy International Women’s Day” in Irish to someone on the street 🇮🇪
I’m learning Irish by speaking with people in real life, and she kindly helped correct my Irish. We ended up having such a lovely conversation.
Sometimes the best classroom is the street.
Would you have responded in Irish if someone stopped you like this? 😊

Trying to order chicken in Irish 🇮🇪
The butcher kindly helped me with pronunciation.
Learning in real life is not easy, but it’s worth it 💚
Go raibh maith agat.
