On Thursday, April 24th, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Japanese Ambassador, Junji Shimada, to Dublin City University (DCU). The Ambassador was introduced to DCU President Daire Keogh and our English Language students from Japan, many of whom are enrolled in our Academic Year Programme to improve their English proficiency.

Adding a touch of fun and colour to the day was MYAKU-MYAKU, the official mascot of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. This friendly and vibrant character created a memorable moment for our students and official representatives.
