Hello guys. Hope once again you're all doing good. Very quick post today with a quick tip I often use when I am not motivated to start a study task. Last final push now for exams so important to keep productive.

Often we tend to do the things we don't mind doing or like doing before we do things we hate doing.

Because of this I often find myself with long essays to write in a very short deadline because ice procrastinated doing them for a long time.

Here is a great trick for GETTING STARTED on any task.

Set a timer for 5 minutes. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself out loud:
"I am going to focus fully and intentionally on this task for the next five minutes"
"If I want to stop after 5 minutes I can but if I feel driven to I can continue the task a little longer"
" I am going to get started on this task"

The key thing here is for this 5 minute trick to work you need no distractions and pure focus. Make it a challenge to see how much you can get done in 5 minutes. Genuinely I find the hardest thing with any hard task is getting started at it. Once you get the ball rolling your desire switches from wanting to avoid the task to wanting to finish the task.

This tip may not work for everyone but feel free to adapt it to your needs or based on the task you have. If you feel like you need 10 mins pure focus to start an essay plan then do 10 mins. If the thought of 5 mins is too much try 2 minutes.

This still wont work for everyone but it defjnuely has worked so far for me when motivation is low. Let me know if it helps you or if you have any other helpful tips that others can use to get started on tasks where motivation is low.

Thanks all! ❤️

Hello hello 👋

Hope everyone is doing well. Very quick post today to highlight that NOW is the time to get organised for the exams. Set yourself up for success by planning ahead.

The link in my bio will take you to a pdf download of a 10 week timetable in rainbow colours to hopefully get you brainstorming what you are going to do each week to study for exams. You could maybe do one sheet per subject? Put one or two tasks in each week to complete.

If anyone has any questions about timetabling pop them in the comments below and I'll try my best to help!

Bonjour tout le monde! Hope you're all doing well and enjoying the Easter break.

Quick post today for anyone doing Leaving Cert French. Education is a topic for discussion often in the composition section of the paper. I wanted to give a few phrases that you could add to your notes around the Irish education system.

I hope they can help you - I really encourage you especially to take note of any new vocabulary or keywords and add them to a quizlet to learn and grow your vocab.

Thanks everyone! Happy Easter week.

Hi everyone. Very quick post today on the French Oral. It's important for any exam to understand how you are going to be marked. Swipe to see the categories you are marked under for the French oral!

Remember communication marks are the most important because they effect how well you can do in the other four categories.

Hope this helps as we enter into practical season.

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well. I have an invitation for you! It's kind've selfishly motivated, as I want some accountability to keep learning French.

I would love for anyone who uses duolingo or would like to create a habit of using duolingo to request to follow me! I will follow back on the platform and that way we can congratulate each other on our progress.

I would also love to set up a group chat on Instagram for anyone looking to develop their French where we could talk in French to each other all things leaving cert or life for extra practice. If anyone would like to be a part of this group give me a DM! I'll add you in.

Hope to see you on Duolingo everyone swipe for my details and make sure to let me know if you decide to take up this habit as would love to follow you back!

Hello all! For anyone starting to get mocks results back (its quite early for them yet so don't panic if you haven't got yours yet) I hope you're happy and find there's alot of good feedback in the corrections.

Today's post is for any accounting students. Accounting theory takes up about 10% of the marks of the total exam so it is important to have a grasp on. Test your budget knowledge by swiping and asking yourself the Qs in bold. These are past exam Questions/ past mock questions in the Budgeting question.

I hope the sample answers help. Let me know if you would like more Accounting content.

All the best everyone!

Hello hello 👋 . Hope everyone is having a lovely week. If its not your week I'm sorry and I'm sending you love!

Todays post is a little snipet from my H1 business notes for the first chapter people in business. It's a quick recap for people to test do you know the key stakeholders and their role in the business world?

I hope these notes help. Remember the ntoes are structured in the way your exam answers should be structured:

Statement or heading
Explanation

𝕀𝕗 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 𝕨𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕤𝕖𝕖 𝕗𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕠𝕨 ~

Hello everyone! Hope you've all had a great week. Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes I really appreciate it!

Today's post is a chatty one. Alot of people have asked me about morning and night routines lately. I think being a students it's especially important to have some sort of routine at these times because there is a danger of overdoing it otherwise.

As a student technically there's always more we can learn/study/practice. We are never fully "done" with a subject but we need to put away the books at some point and get proper rest to be energised for school the next day. This is why I think having a set night routine is key to efficient study.

1. It keeps us from studying too late/ using screens too late
2. It sets a deadline time for Homework and study to be complete
3. It ensures we look after our physical and mental health everyday.

Here is a suggested evening routine as a secondary school student that I used in my leaving cert year:
✅️ Write a to do list for the next day - make it realistic and timed
✅️ Catch up on socials or messages on your phone now if you want to then plug your phone and other devices in to charge for the night
✅️Pack your bag for school the next day
✅️Set your alarms
✅️ Chat to family/ friends for a bit if you feel up for it while prepping school lunch for the morning
✅️ If you're an evening showerer shower here
✅️ After your shower get dressed for bed and do something you find relaxing, try not to involve your phone
✅️Drink water
✅️Brush your teeth, skin routine and bed

Please let me know what your evening routine looks like or how it differs from the above!

Thanks for reading everyone. Enjoy your evening 😉

Hi guys! Hope you're all well. We are in March soon - irish and language orals are close so let's get to practicing! Mocks are a great asset to practice these if you have the opportunity to do one please do!

It's a very small part of the oral but I thought this post would help you practice your knowledge of responding to a question. Specifically the examiner may ask you questions at the end of the Sraith pictiúr and it's important you know how to answer in the correct way grammatically!

Swipe for a summary of some of the common question verbs used in the Irish oral.

Thanks everyone! Have a great week
