As a fulltime Mum with three teenage kids, one with special educational needs, I decided that reskilling as a Post Primary Teacher would fulfil a yearning within me to instil a love of Science in our young people. I have a particular interest in children with SEN as it is an area that I am familiar with not only because I have a son with ASD and ADHD but also because I have first-hand experience of working with children with SEN in schools.

I am on an adventure to help realise my vision of how I can help not only SEN students but all students to learn. WiseSalmon is an educational platform that will engage our digital natives through gamification technology, focusing on curriculum specific content for the post-primary sector.
