RTE is excited to announce that open casting is now underway for lead character, Nell, in Toy Show The Musical.
Nell is a bright and brilliant 12-year-old girl with a wonderful spirit and great singing and dancing skills!

What age do I have to be to apply for an audition for the roll of Nell?

You should be between the ages of 11-16 with a playing age of 12 years old.

What should I include in my video application?

In your video, we would love to see you singing a verse and chorus of a song of your choice. Can you also introduce the video by telling us a bit about yourself (include any experience you might have in singing, acting, dancing, playing an instrument or if you have any interesting hobbies/party pieces.

What is the closing date to submit a video application?

Closing date for applications is midnight Friday June 3rd 2022

What happens then?

Successful applicants will then be shortlisted for an in-person audition.

When will auditions for Nell be?

Auditions will be held in June this year.

Where will the auditions be held?

We will be auditioning in Dublin city centre.

If I am chosen for an audition, what will I have to do?

You will meet casting director Maureen Hughes and perform a monologue or short poem. You will be asked to sing something too!
