This award celebrates outstanding Third-Year Architectural Technology students who are showing exceptional promise, academic excellence, and dedication to the profession.

With this award, the RIAI aims to celebrate emerging talent and support the next generation of architectural technologists in Ireland.

The RIAI Student Awards are free to enter and open to students from all recognised programmes of Architecture in Ireland, as well as RIAI-accredited programmes in Architectural Technology.

The awards celebrate innovation, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in architectural education. Shortlisted students will benefit from valuable publicity opportunities and, thanks to our sponsors, monetary prizes.

is supporting the Student Excellence Award in Architecture, is supporting the Student Award for Sustainable Design, and is supporting the Student Writing Prize in association with .

The awards will be presented at the RIAI Conference on 7 October 2027 in the RDS.
