Actress, writer, and TCD alumnus Pauline McLynn is our special guest speaker today, and will be talking at 3pm in the Synge Theatre!

Yesterday at ISHS Marty Murphy presented a paper on "Comic effect and the abstraction of violence in literary comedy narratives."

He also made this video about tea.

Tonight's the night of the Laughter in Our Bones: A Comic Cultural Buffet, in the Samuel Beckett Theatre at 7.30pm! Come for a night of entertainment and an exercise in humour and intercultural (con)texts.

It will involve nine short comic sketches performed by people from their ‘home’ cultures, now resident in Dublin and Ireland. It will range from Chinese, Nigerian and American entries to Co. Monaghan and Galway entries, with a special one from 1916 performed by a local group of Dubliners.

We want to remind you that anyone staying long enough to attend on Friday night, to go that night instead. In either case, the event is free! Just make sure you sign up at the registration desk!

The 13:30 workshop 'School Daze: Play, Humor and Teaching Grownups' has moved from The Innovation Hub to the Synge Theatre.

Don't forget - Lunch is in the Dining Hall today (the same place as last night)!

Just a reminder that the Banquet takes place at 7PM this evening in the Main Dining Hall!

It's time to eat, drink and be merry at the Banquet tonight! Unfortunately we are not taking any more bookings for the banquet, but if you have requested a plus one and have not yet paid the €30, then you will be asked to do so in advanced at the registration desk.

The banquet is taking place in the Main Dining Hall at 7pm and will include a three course meal with a glass wine.
