‼️ Application to Appeal Leaving Cert Exams opens this morning!

From 10am today, students who wish to apply to appeal one or more of their exams can do so via the CSSP (Candidate Self-Service Portal).

➡️ Opens 10am Sunday 30th August

‼️ Closes 5pm Monday 31st August

⚠️ The Appeal Application deadline will be strictly applied and it will not be possible to accept late applications. This is necessary in order to ensure that the other stages of the appeal process can be completed as quickly as possible.

An Application fee of €40 per subject will apply per Leaving Cert subjects and €15.50 per subject for Leaving Certificate Applied. The fee is refunded in the case of a successful appeal.

Results of appeals are due to be released on September the 25th at 11am.

Look at the beautiful fruit on our pear and apple trees in LAC.

There’s something about watching something grow that reminds us that good things take time.

A tiny blossom becomes a fruit.
A bare branch becomes full.

And with patience, care and a little bit of faith, something beautiful begins to take shape.

New beginnings are much the same. They can feel uncertain at first — a little like planting a seed and wondering what will come of it.
This week, we have welcomed three groups back through the doors of LAC & look forward to seeing where your journey takes you.

We’re looking for students who are ready to show their skills, have some fun and shine on stage at our upcoming School Talent Show in November! 🎶

Our new website is launching today 😍

We look forward to welcoming our 1st Year students, along with their parents to Lough Allen College at 9am in the morning.

We will have our parent & student gathering from 9am - 9:40am followed by our first year induction. Students will receive their books, lockers and loads of opportunities to forge new friendships.

We can’t wait to meet you all!!

Once our Leaving Certs receive their CAO offers tomorrow, feel free to drop into Lough Allen College between 3pm & 4pm.

Our career guidance counsellor Ms Brehony will be available to meet with you, and answer any questions on offers/decisions.
