To our players, management and backroom team we wish ye all the very best of luck in tomorrow’s North Cork Junior A Hurling Final!

For those of us who remember the great days of the late ’80s and early 2000s, occasions like this bring back wonderful memories of what hurling means to our little village. There's a great amount of talent in this squad, with plenty more coming through, and with gods will we will have great days like these again🙏

We encourage everyone to come out and support the boys tomorrow, young and old and wear the blue and gold!🇺🇦

📚 Discover the Joy of Reading - Right on Our Doorstep!!

We are very fortunate to have the Cork County Council Mobile Library visiting our Community every second Thursday of the month! It is now located parked outside the Playschool in Ashbrook.
This is an invaluable service for rural communities like ours and we warmly encourage people to pop along, have a browse and make the most of this fantastic service!

⚠️ COMMUNITY NOTICE – PLEASE BE VIGILANT ⚠️

We are asking our community and surrounding areas to be a little extra vigilant following reports of recent robberies in Ballyhea, Charleville, Newmarket, Freemount areas.

Please keep an eye out around your own home and areas, and if you have an elderly neighbour or someone living alone nearby, perhaps take a few minutes to call in or check that they are okay.

Please be mindful of any suspicious vehicles in the area, Take note and report details to the local Gardaí.

Most importantly, please look out for one another. A little extra awareness and neighbourly care can make a big difference.

Stay safe and stay vigilant.

💛 A Special Message to Our Parish Community 💛

As Fr. Wickham prepares for his retirement, we would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank him for the many years of dedication, kindness and service he has given to our parish and its people.

To mark this special occasion, a collection is currently being organised, envelopes will be delivered to all houses in the parish over the weekend and any financial contribution would be most welcome and greatly appreciated.
Contributions can be dropped to the Old Schoolhouse on Wednesday & Thursday Evening next between 7pm - 8pm
All the details are included in a letter with envelope

We hope you will join us in showing our appreciation to Fr. Wickham and in wishing him good health, happiness and many blessings as he begins this new chapter. 🙏💛
