🐓 Junior and Senior Infants had a fantastic day on their school tour to Newgrange Farm. The children enjoyed petting and holding some of the farm animals and had great fun on a tractor-trailer ride around the farm. They also spent time playing in the farm sand pits, using the toy tractors and go-karts, and exploring the maze. The play houses were another favourite attraction, providing lots of opportunities for imaginative play and fun with friends.

It was a wonderful day filled with excitement, learning, and memorable experiences for everyone. 🚜

The children in 3rd, 4th and 5th class had a wonderful time with the . They enjoyed learning new skills and taking part in a variety of activities with some of the O’ Raghallaigh’s players. The children showed great enthusiasm and benefited from the players’ coaching, encouragement and expertise. It was a fantastic opportunity to develop their skills and build confidence.

🚒🔥We were delighted to welcome members of Drogheda Fire Brigade back to our school today to speak with our 3rd class pupils about fire safety.

The firefighters covered a range of important topics, including how to make an emergency call and the importance of ensuring every home has a working smoke alarm.

To add to the excitement, their pagers sounded during the visit and they had to leave the school promptly to respond to an emergency call. Thankfully, they were able to return later and complete their presentation. The children were fascinated to see firsthand how quickly firefighters must react when a real emergency occurs and really enjoyed this unique experience.🔥🚒

Patch, our school mascot, joined the 3rd and 4th Class school tour today at the Drogheda Sports Dome 🏃‍♂️🎨🔬 The day combined sport, creativity, science, technology and engineering, giving the children a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills, work together and have fun. Everyone had a great time, and it was especially exciting to meet and be coached by some local sports stars. A memorable day full of learning, teamwork and enjoyment for all! ⭐️🏆

🚒🔥 We were delighted to welcome Drogheda Fire Brigade to our school today to speak with our Junior and Senior Infants.

The children had a fantastic time learning all about the important work firefighters do and exploring the different parts of the fire engine and how they are used in emergencies.

The highlight of the visit, as always, was getting the chance to use the fire hose themselves! There were lots of smiles and excitement. 🔥🚒

🎾 The children in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th class had the opportunity to work with Gary, a coach from today in conjunction with .uile. The session was fun, interactive and engaging, and they learned some new tennis skills. It also gave them the opportunity to discover whether they would like to take up tennis outside of school. 🎾

🇮🇪🇵🇭The school was full of colour today as children proudly dressed in their cultural clothing and Irish colours to mark the end of Wellness Week. The celebrations concluded with a wonderful flag parade promoting cultural awareness and inclusion throughout our school community.

During the week, 4th Class enjoyed a talk from Flora .ie as well as an energetic African dance workshop led by Sharon.

It is always great to celebrate the many unique individuals and cultures that come together to make our school community such a welcoming and vibrant place. 🇨🇳🇮🇳

☀️ A sunny Marathon Relay Day at Presentation Primary School! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The children completed the marathon in an incredible 2 hours, 50 minutes, and 22 seconds, with fantastic encouragement from every step of the way. The Parents’ Association organised .ie to help everyone cool down afterwards with a very well-deserved ice cream! 🍦👏
