School's out for summer! 🌞 It's the perfect time to bring in your little ones to the library, especially the incoming Junior Infants as we have a special gift for all of them before they take that big scary step into Big School!

Every child aged 4, 5 and 6 can pick up a FREE book bag at all 5 of our library branches, Dundalk, Drogheda, Ardee, Dunleer & Carlingford, packed with books, a library card wallet and resources to help them get ready for school.

Why not join your local library while you're there? Just bring photo ID and proof of current address along with you and one of our librarians will be able to register you and your family. Just walk in during opening hours. No appointment. No charge. Just brilliant books.
