The Junior Room enjoyed a great visit to Portnoo Market Garden in the glorious summer sunshine today!☀️☀️Barrie showed us all the vegetables growing on the farm and in the tunnels and we even got to taste some delicious lettuce 🥬 🥬 Thank you Barrie for your time and knowledge ! The children enjoyed a lovely day outside gardening. We replanted our sunflowers 🌻 look how much they’ve grown!
Timmy Tomato is now 1m 43cm. We also had the opportunity to taste the variety of lettuces we have growing in our garden 🥬

🌸🌳🪾We had a fantastic day today with Emer & Elena on our field trip to Sheskinmore Nature Reserve to mark National Biodiversity Week. We are so blessed to have this nature reserve in our local area. 🌿🍃💐

Last week, two teams represented the school at the Cumann na mBunscol GAA Blitz. The boys won an impressive three out of four tough games. Missing from the photo are the rivals' double threat; Fionn and Max Nicholson. The girls played well on the day too and both teams will have another finals Blitz soon. On Friday 4th - 6th class participated in a tag rugby blitz in Donegal Town. We fielded two teams; The Portnoo Panthers and The Cool Clooneys. It is great to see the confidence and skills develop on these days out as well as the friendships being built in the wider community. 💙⚽️🏈

The boys and girls in St. Conal’s N.S have been bursting with creativity these past few days and look at the beautiful wildflower garden they have created for all the bees , butterflies and other creatures 🦋🐝
