William Mc Elhinney of Wild Strands is offering a series of 4 workshop during the month of April. This series is fully funded by Sláintecare Healthy Communities and is free to attend.
As part of his MSc research project this coastal intervention is designed as a nature-based health initiative which aims to reduce stress and enhance overall wellbeing by reconnection to seaweed. The purpose of the study is to enhance the participants' knowledge of seaweed through food, ocean literacy, Tai Chi qigong and the 5-pathways to nature connectedness framework.
As this is a research project, we are looking for participants who can commit to all 4 sessions and consent to the data being collected (photo, video recordings and pre/ post survey
