10 years. And what a journey. 💚

From schools to classes, camps to parties. From children who grew up with RINKA and came back as assistants, to assistants who have grown into instructors and managers 🥹🥹

There have been TV appearances, radio interviews, awards, parades, big opportunities and plenty of moments we could never have imagined when this all began.

And there have been twists and turns too😅

We taught in masks. We went online. We navigated COVID and did whatever we could to keep RINKA moving. We survived it, came out the other side and continued to grow🙌

But through every version of RINKA, the most important part has always stayed the same.

The children.

The thousands of children who have walked through our doors. The parents who trusted us with them. The schools that welcomed us in. The communities that supported us. And every instructor, assistant, franchisee and team member who became part of the RINKA story along the way.

What started as an idea has become something bigger than I could ever have imagined.

So today, on our official 10th birthday, there really is only one thing left to say.

Thank you.

Ten years of RINKA… and what better way to celebrate than to KEEP GROWING!! 🎉

Because the best way to celebrate how far we’ve come is to keep giving ourselves brand new reasons to celebrate.

And starting in a BRAND NEW COUNTY is a pretty exciting one!!

And guess what? We’re already taking bookings for our trial classes!

But there’s something that makes this announcement even more exciting. Galway will be under the leadership of our fabulous Megan, who has been part of the RINKA team for two years and has already successfully launched and grown our Mayo classes. Now she’s taking on Galway, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what she creates there.

So Galway parents, you are in for an AMAZING treat!

I find it incredibly hard to believe that next week we will officially be celebrating 10 years of RINKA 🥹

It’s mad to even say that out loud😅

In some ways, it feels like only yesterday that I started. In others, I genuinely can’t remember a time before RINKA.

To stand here now and look back over ten years of being part of children’s journeys, working with hundreds of families, visiting schools, building communities and watching RINKA grow into what it is today is an incredibly proud moment.

And to know that all of this started with nothing more than an idea and a dream is definitely a bit of a pinch me moment😆

Obviously, we’re going to celebrate in style, and this is only the beginning of our 10th birthday celebrations🥳

Jessica has been with RINKA since she was 16 and has lots of experience assisting classes, camps and parties. Her fav part of running parties is putting a smile on all the kids faces through playing fun, energetic games ☺️☺️

Little hands. Big confidence. 💚

Sometimes the most important thing happening in a RINKA class has nothing to do with how high you can jump, how fast you can run or how well you can catch.

It’s learning to join in.
Learning to hold someone’s hand.
Learning to be part of a group.
Learning that movement is a happy, safe place to be.

Because when children feel like they belong, confidence grows.

And when movement is connected with friendship, laughter and fun from an early age, we’re laying the foundations for something much bigger than fitness.

Strong bodies. Strong minds. Strong hearts.

Looking for a part-time job that’s actually FUN? 🤩

We’re always on the lookout for brilliant people aged 16+ to join our RINKA teams as Class Assistants.

Yes, you’ll earn some extra money, but you’ll also gain something much more valuable: real experience working with children and being part of a team.

As a RINKA Assistant, you’ll learn how to communicate with young people, build confidence, take responsibility, work alongside our Class Leads and understand what goes into creating a safe, positive and FUN environment for children.

It’s brilliant experience for anyone considering a future in teaching, childcare, coaching, sports, healthcare or working with young people. And when it comes to building your CV, having genuine responsibility and hands-on experience gives you plenty to talk about.

Plus, it definitely beats spending your part-time job watching the clock!

If you’re 16 or over, energetic, reliable, great with kids and would love to earn some extra money while gaining experience that actually means something, we’d love to hear from you.
