***Just wanted to point out as a few people have asked and didnt believe me- YES, THIS IS THE SAME DOG IN ALL PHOTOS. Lady went in a poodle and 2.5 hours later came out an Airedale Terrier, thats whats so fun about Creative Grooming, the options are endless***

Another busy weekend on the road to Camross, Co. Wexford, with our girl Lady for the South East Groom Off competition. 🐾❤️
We were going well until my clippers broke around 30 minutes into the competition! 😩 Panic stations hit, but I stayed calm and figured the only thing I could do was scissor everything else.
A huge thank you to everyone who offered up their clippers during the comfort break — I really appreciated it. ❤️ I took on the extra challenge of having no clippers, kept going, and we only went and won the class! 🥰🏆
Thanks Tanya and Lyndsay for speaking so highly of Lady's transformation and for the placement and critique. I truly appreciate your expertise. 🥰
The heat made it so much harder at 25°, but I’m so proud of Lady for doing so well. We had so much fun, even though I looked like I’d been working in the coal mines by the end of it! 😂🤣 Thanks Laura for that comment! 😂
Thanks again and congrats to Jade on such a successful event, we had an amazing day. Same again next year?? 😅
Next event: Madra Mania 2026 — 10th/11th October. 😁🐾
I’ve kept this one quiet too, but I’m absolutely delighted to say that I’ve also been nominated for Creative Groomer of the Year at this year’s Celtic Coat Awards in November! 🥰🏆

Sorry, no grooming today 😢- just realised a few minutes ago our trickle of water was from a burst mains. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Will be in touch with all customers this morning.

🐾🎉 Happy 6th Birthday, Tails of the Town Dog Grooming! 🎉🐾
Today we're celebrating 6 amazing years of pampering pups, making tails wag, and building wonderful friendships with dogs and their owners in our community.
A huge thank you to all our loyal customers—both two-legged and four-legged—who have supported us along the way. We couldn't have done it without you!
Here's to many more years of happy dogs, fresh grooms, and wagging tails. 🐶❤️

Yesterday we travelled over to Comber, Co Down for the NI Grooming Challenge with Bandit & Lady. We had a lovely day apart from the migraine which stayed well into the afternoon and absolutely floored me. 🤢
We didnt place in the morning class with Bandit(workshop) but had great critique from the judges which is, as always, much appreciated. 😃
In the afternoon we tried our luck with lady in the Creative class. She had the most amazing time bouncing around the table for almost the full groom. A few meltdowns(me not her), a lot of mess and almost a pack of baby wipes later and we got 5th place for her Zebra design. Wasn't how I imagined the groom to turn out but still chuffed with the outcome. 🦓
To my shock i also was called up for winning the Best Handler award. Seriously wasnt expecting it at all. I must have looked calmer than I felt. 😅😂
Thanks to all the organisers and judges for such a lovely day. Congratulations to everyone who placed and to those of you who took part(that's the hardest part in my opinion so well done 👏).
Roll on next year !
