Its been a lovely week with lighter evenings! Especially on the three days i have worked with 15 kids aged 6-10years. Everyone sitting and using the sewing machines after their introduction on how to use one, a driving test and how to cut/draw a basic pattern. Such a great feeling the job satisfaction in the knowledge your showing a skill, most will never go near a machine again, but it might just trigger something when reflecting on childhood later on, an important life skill. Creative fun, motivation to make something out of nothing and the look of kids faces when they finish, the absolute achievement of finishing something, on time, and its all their work.
Will be posting their work over the next few weeks, really proud of everyone this week x
