4th and 5th class headed to UCC for the Professor Fluffy programme and got a taste of college life 👩🎓👨🎓
From exploring the Boole Library 📚 to getting their very own student ID cards and finishing the day graduating in caps & gowns 🎉 — safe to say they’re feeling VERY grown up 💫

Our Junior Infants had a fantastic day on their school tour to Tír na Sí today! From the moment they arrived, there were smiles all around as the children set off to explore the farm.
They enjoyed meeting and learning about a variety of friendly farm animals 🐑🐐 – from fluffy sheep to curious goats, and even some playful hens! The highlight for many was getting up close to the animals and seeing how a real working farm operates.
The children also loved exploring the beautiful surroundings, enjoying the fresh air, and taking part in fun activities along the way. It was a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning, laughter, and making special memories with friends.
A fantastic day was had by all! 🌞🐓🌼

🏀 Junior NBA in Dublin 🏀
Our pupils had a fantastic experience taking part in the Junior NBA event with in Dublin this week. Throughout the day, they developed their basketball skills, improved their teamwork, and showed great determination on the court.
They embraced every opportunity to learn, demonstrating excellent effort and a positive attitude during all activities. Just as importantly, their behaviour was exemplary, and they represented our school with pride from start to finish.
We are extremely proud of how they conducted themselves and the progress they made – a true credit to the school! 🌟

Today was a highlight of the year for our 6th class pupils, as they took part in an inspiring resilience workshop with , also known for his role as Billy Murphy in .
Shane spoke to the students about the transition from primary to secondary school, sharing his own experiences and offering valuable tips and strategies to help them manage change with confidence. His engaging and honest approach encouraged the pupils to think positively about the challenges ahead and to build resilience as they take this important next step in their education.
Today was a very special (and very exciting!) day in our school as we welcomed our future Junior Infants for their induction day 🎉
Our youngest visitors arrived with big smiles, curious eyes, and lots of excitement as they got their very first taste of life at “big school.” From exploring their new classrooms to meeting new friends, there was a wonderful buzz of laughter and energy all around.
We think they did a fantastic job on their first visit—and we can’t wait to see them back with us soon for many more adventures ahead! ✨
