Spotlight for The S.W.E.L.S Choir ✨

I have been with this gorgeous group of Ladies since 2019, when I was fresh out of College at the MTU Cork School of Music (then CIT).

It has now become a monthly tradition that 1 choir practice in every 4, becomes half a practice followed by a Tea & Cake morning with the delicious bakes coming from MrsC.J 🧁

A Tuesday isn’t a Tuesday without this group of Ladies 💛

The S.W.E.L.S Choir is part of the Cobh Cobh Active Retirement Group, S.W.E.L.S. which suitably so stands for Senior With Energetic Lifestyles 🎉

NIGHT 1 of the Island Voice Community Choir ✨

What a wonderful night!
Our first practice as a group and already there is a beautiful sound 💛

The room had a lovely energy that just bubbled away the whole night as we learnt our first song!
The hour moved really nicely from everyone chatting to getting up and singing.

Truly looking forward to next week ✨

🎶✨ New community choir launching in Cobh! ✨🎶

We’re delighted to announce the start of the Island Voices Community Choir in Cobh, beginning 6th May for a joyful 6-week series of singing together.

No experience needed! Just bring your wonderful self (maybe a friend), your voice and a love of music. Whether you sing in the shower or on stage, you’re welcome here. Come connect, harmonise, and be part of something uplifting in the heart of the community.

📅 Starts: 6th May
🗓️ Runs for: 6 weeks
📍 Location: Cobh Community Centre, St.Colman’s (Wing 2)

Let’s make some music together 🎵💙
