Hi Everyone,

We might not have the weather this week to prove it, but the summer's well and truly under way, and that means it's time again for the Microbiology Summer BBQ!

This year's party will be taking place on Thursday, 14th of August at Deep South Bar on Grand Parade. Things will be kicking off at 7:30pm, with a night of classic southern cuisine, music and a FREE RAFFLE; definitely not one to be missed. As per usual, there is free entry for all Microbiology staff and postgrads to this event.

Sausages will be sizzlin', ribs a-roastin', salads tossin' and drinks a-flowin', so get yourselves down there Thursday week for a summer's night to be remembered!

Successful day of ticket sales today with most of the tickets being snatched up. Word on the street is that people don't even care about the party they just love the beautiful ticket design *brushes shoulder*

Having said that the party is definitely going to be a bonus, we have a great night planned for you guys! We've got an especially nice prize planned for the most festive lab.

Rumour has it that one soccer team in particular has already started some serious drills in preparation. Sounds like it is ramping up to be quite the match this year!

If you missed us today pop us a message on here and we can arrange a time to get you your ticket. There are still tickets available but you will need to let us know because we have to give the venue final numbers soon.

Christmas party is only two weeks away now guys don't forget to get your tickets from Alli in FSB 4.05, Loughlin in FSB 441, or Noreen, Emer and Kieran in BSI 4.25!! Also its time to start getting those labs decorated, remember their will be a prize for the best decorated lab!!
