Harrington School of Irish Dance, Cork

So proud of our 5 dancers who took to the World Stage this week. Grace in her first Worlds u10, Fia u12 in her first Worlds, Saoirse and Nicole u18 and Leah u20 and Cara supporting her friends. They all danced beautifully and came off smiling and enjoyed their experience.

All roads lead to Waterford this weekend for the Munster Championships. The girls have put in a huge amount of work so we are looking to seeing them preform on stage. A special mention to Leah who unfortunately is missing out on dancing this weekend due to an injury. We are looking forward to having her back soon.

And that's a wrap for 24-25 dancing year.

We had 2 events to finish off the year in style. Last week we have our end of year class feis for our beginners which was a great success. It was so nice to see all the girls up on stage dancing their heart out and with smiles on their faces. Thanks to Alice one of our senior dancers for adjudicating for us. It doesn't seem that long ago that Alice was up there herself dancing.

Last night 26 of our dancers completed their grading exams dancing exams. We have dancers doing grade 1 to grade 6. Well done to each one of them for preparing so well for them. Thanks to our examiner Carol who as always was so kind to the girls and put them at ease. Well done to the girls in the Rachel Kelly Irish Dancing who completed the exams with us.

Finally a big thank you to all our pupils and parents for their commitment and support throughout the year. It's been a great year and we look forward to seeing you all back again in September.

A big well done to all our girls who competed in the Cork Open Feis yesterday. They all danced so well. A special mention to the 2 Ellies who danced at their 1st feis. They were fantastic given that they are objy dancing a few weeks. Well done girls
