Is change-making an art?

We are all living together on one planet.
Many agree that we need to develop a more humane, just and ecologically viable way to live in the world.
We all carry questions, capacities, energies, longings, visions, and understandings. Amidst the multitude of initiatives and change processes, how can discover ways that would enhance and maximise our capacities as ecological citizens and imaginative agents of change?

Before meeting you we came together to open up a space in which we can all work to explore our creative capacities and potential to contribute to change.

These are the some questions that emerged.

•What is change to me?
•What capacities do I need to be an agent of change?
•What is my freedom?
•How do I understand the connection between responsibility and freedom?
•What values contribute to the shaping a viable future?

We are inviting you to come into this unique intercultural space with your doubts, concerns, questions, experiences and passion to work together. These are all useful resources on this journey.

What past participants say:

"It’s opened my eyes to the world as a bigger picture."

"It opened new doors for me. There were things like theatre or the street actions that I wouldn’t consider myself able to do before and now I’m comfortable with them."

"I have a much greater understanding of how my own practice can be used as a means of critically examining the world/community around us, and also take away lots of practical skills and ideas for
working in different artistic mediums."

Fake shops used to make towns neater for G8 Local councils in Northern Ireland have painted fake shop fronts and covered derelict buildings with huge billboards to hide the economic hardship being felt in towns and villages near the golf resort where G8 leaders will meet this month.
