Clohanbeg National School

The DvDs of the closing ceremony are now available to order at a cost of 10euro per copy. Orders can be placed by emailing [email protected] or by phone to Cree school, 9059384 between 9 am and 12pm.

We are ordering extra copies of the School Publication. Please let us know if you need any more as we will be placing the order at the end of the week. We don't intend ordering any more copies at this time. You could text the school mobile on 086/7935545 if you are interested.

A reminder that the closing down ceremony will take place this Sunday 26th at 1pm at the school. All welcome.

Due to the Clare football game in Croke Park on Saturday 25th it has been decided to change the date of our closing ceremony to Sunday 26th at 1 p.m. All are welcome.

We are all extremely disappointed to announce that Clohanbeg NS is due to close in June. It has been a long struggle over the last few years to avoid this happening and keep the school open. Unfortunately with a big exodus from 6th class this year our numbers are too low to continue as a viable school. We will be holding a ceremony to mark the closing of the school on Saturday June 25th. All are welcome. More details to follow.
