Intervarsity Law Summit

We are thrilled to share the bus timetables for this year’s Summit. A complimentary bus service will be available for Summit attendees from the UCC campus to our venue, Rochestown Park Hotel.

Buses will depart from and drop off at the Western Gateway Building Bus Stop on both days. Please note that spaces are limited and attendees will be served on a first come first served basis.

With the Summit just a few days away we are releasing afters tickets for the Intervarsity Gala Ball!🎉

For those who can’t attend the Summit but would like a night of celebration, live music and fun with law students from across the country, we have the perfect ticket for you!

Holders of afters tickets are welcome at Rochestown Park Hotel from 8pm when The OffBeats will take to the stage followed by a late DJ until 2am! 🤩

The band, including their brass section, will be taking the stage immediately following the Intervarsity Gala Dinner at 8pm and will be followed by a late night DJ!

The theme for the 2026 Intervarsity Law Summit is ‘Justice for All: Advancing Equality and Human Rights in a Changing World’. 

Through this theme, we hope to place an emphasis on those who use compassion to unite and break barriers in society to foster unity. 

We wish to reflect this theme through our charity partner, Nasc and our Keynote speakers who have worked to uphold fundamental rights and break down societal barriers around the world and in their respective fields.

We are incredibly excited to share that Commissioner Michael McGrath will be joining us at this year’s Intervarsity Law Summit as our fourth and final keynote speaker. 

As European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection, Mr. McGrath is charged with upholding the values that underpin the European Union, ensuring the effective implementation and protection of fundamental rights and freedoms as well as mechanisms aimed to to protect against corruption and disinformation. 

Mr. McGrath will address Summit attendees at 1pm on Friday the 23rd of January, the first day of the Summit.

We are very excited to share that the Intervarsity Law Summit has teamed up with Nasc as our charity partner for 2026.

Nasc provides an essential support and advisory network for migrants across Ireland. Through their advocacy, legal advice services and integration projects, Nasc aids migrants in asserting their rights and establishing their life in Ireland.

Over the course of the Summit, we will be raising funds for Nasc, allowing them to provide further assistance to those within their support network. This will include a charity raffle and Prosecco reception on the first night of the Summit, an incredible opportunity for attendees to network with fellow law students from around Ireland while benefitting a very worthy charitable cause.
