Representing CEinnoculture and with the support of Cork City Council, I was honoured to meet with Mr. Shen Shanzhou, Mayor of Huangpu District, Shanghai while he was visiting Bern, Switzerland. We hope that we can continue to work together to strengthen links between the Twin Cities of Cork and Shanghai.

Ceinnoculture was delighted to introduce Tony Duan, CEO Fotor, China and his team to the Lord Mayor of Cork, Kieran McCarthy, and to representatives from Cork City Council, UCC, MTU and the Tyndall National Institute. Fotor is a photo-editing software company with 600 million users globally in 200+ countries and are at present considering options for a European base.

We were delighted to meet with members of the Fujian Foreign Affairs Office in Fuzhou city. Fujian province has a population of 39 million while Fuzhou city has a population of 7 million. This was the first meeting with a delegation from Cork for some time so hopefully we can now begin to nurture ties between Fuzhou city and Fujian province and Cork.
