It is with sadness that we announce the death of Canon Michael McLoughlin, P.E., who passed away on 24th April 2026.

A devoted priest of the Diocese of Killaloe, he served faithfully in many pastoral ministries, including as Parish Priest of Kilmaley, chaplain, and spiritual director.

May he rest in peace.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Funeral Mass will take place in Kilmaley Church on Monday, 27th April at 2:00 pm.

Well done Connolly National School 👏

Raising of Green Flag
We raised our Green Flag on Global Citizenship and Litter Waste Management in the school this morning. We invited our special guests Connolly Tidy Village Group in to raise the flag in conjunction with our Green Schools Committee.
The work Connolly Tidy Villages Group do is wonderful to make our village look so well. Karen Foley from Clare County Council also spoke on the tremendous work the school is doing promoting this initiative.
Special thanks to our Green Schools co-ordinator Geraldine Mc Caw for all her hard work. We were blessed with the weather.
