Thank you to our 6th Class for organising a Best Buddies competition as a treat for the school last Friday. Students were placed in a 'sound proof booth' while their buddy answered questions about them. There was tough competition but 5th class were victorious in the end. Everyone enjoyed cheering on their classmates. Congratulations to all who took part!

At the end of the last school year our outgoing Student Council suggested that we have a Bug Hotel at school. We'd like to say a big thank you to our caretaker Gerry for providing all of our minibeasts with this magnificent place to stay!

Second Class have been learning all about Red Kites. They enjoyed going on the Red Kite walk looking and listening for those beautiful birds, with a short stop in the playground on the way back. They used the iPads to look up information about Red Kites and worked in teams to create a project of fascinating facts. Finally, they examined the birds and drew them in flight during an art lesson.

6th class had a very informative and enjoyable visit from Glenart College secondary school. It was a great opportunity to ask questions and get a glimpse of what life in secondary school is like. The school’s support dog, James made the visit extra special for all our 6th class.

Our 6th Class students recently showcased their Passion Projects, and what an incredible display of individuality, creativity, and talent it was!

From dirt bikes to brownies, GAA to fishing, and everything in between, each project reflected the unique interests, skills, and personalities of our students. Well done to all 👏
