YESSSS!!!!! Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition Finals, here I come!!!

I've just found out that my project has made it through to January's Finals in Dublin's RDS so I'm thrilled beyond thrilled!!

My project, while a closely guarded secret, has the potential to change young people's lives in Ireland forever, so I'll be putting 100% into it now!!

And while our politicians loved my project last year, trust me when I say that they'll all be flocking around this year's one!!

Commiserations to anyone who didn't get through - make sure to put yourself on the reserve list next month, which is how I got through last year. And a huge congrats to anyone who made the Finals - can't wait to see you all in January!!!

I'm live from the Four Courts in Dublin to announce another amazing TY work placement!!

I'm thrilled to say that I'm going to be working for Ireland's top Disability and Assessments of Needs law firm!! Meet Niamh Maher, managing partner of the incredble Healy Law LLP - Dublin. In my opinion, she's Ireland's number 1 expert on AON & Disability so this placement starting in late Novemeber is going to be an incredible fit. It's time to tackle the AON crisis from another angle!!

Niamh and I have huge ambitious plans coming, so watch this space bigtime!! 😊

Thank you so much to everyone who gave their opinions a few days ago as to whether I should continue advocating for Disability, or to take a step back from it all. The results are dramatic - 99% say to keep going. And everyone wants me to keep a good life balance with friends, sport, etc, which I know I can do.

So I've spent the last few days laying brand new ideas in front of my parents to seek their support. After I secured €20million to "Cara's Fund" in the recent Budget, I think Dad was hoping for a little break, but now I'll need his tactical ability once again.

My ideas are huge, so let's see if I can get some traction over the next few weeks!! After all, God loves a trier!! 😊

I'd love to get people's feedback here - I met a beautiful lady today in Clonmel who said to me that I was an amazing person, and that I should now step back and retire after getting another €20million to "Cara's Fund" in last Tuesday's Budget for Assessments of Needs waiting lists.

So what do you think - should I retire from advocacy, or do I push the accelerator in a way never seen before in the history of our Country!!!!????

I can't wait to hear what you think!!! 😊

This is hilarious!! My amazing little brother John normally picks up Mum's wallet when he's asking for a treat - but today he picked up the €20million cheque from last Tuesday's Budget!!!
In our dreams John, in our dreams!!! 🤣

Absolutely thrilled to finish 4th in my first ever cross-country race at the Tipperary Athletics U17 4000m race!! Just outside the medals, but huge congrats to the girls in front of me, and everyone who competed in every race!! And our amazing club at Clonmel AC did brilliantly overall!! Now I definitely deserve a treat on the way home!! 💙💛

This is the amazing moment from last Tuesday evening on Budget Day that I found out from the Tánaiste that at least €20million is going to "Cara's Fund."

And to become the youngest person to ever receive official media accreditation for a formal Government press conference, was just incredible.

In my opinion, the best way to get results is to engage positively, respectfully and always stay 100% focused on your issue(s). And the fact that I've got €50million over 3 Budgets shows that there's some method to my madness!!

To get such high praise at just 16 years old is truly humbling, and I'm really grateful for my voice to be heard & acted upon.🙏

The best two weeks of my life at Tipp FM has come to an end!! I promised that my TY year would be something amazing, and Tipp FM delivered that bigtime!!

I'm already missing the entire team - all I can say is a million billion thanks to them for teaching me so much!! I'm actually really emotional that it's over. 🥲

But what a fortnight we had, from me learning the basics of journalism & media, to putting the microphone in front of the most powerful politicians in Leinster House for them to answer the really hard questions.

Then to get formal media accreditation for the biggest press conferences of the Budget last Tuesday was just incredible.

The icing on the cake came when I got the €20million of funding towards Assessments of Needs (Cara's Fund) in the Budget, so what an amazing week we've all had together!!

All I can say to people out there is that Tipp FM is quite simply an amazing station that puts the listeners first, so you won't be sorry if you tune in to listen, which I strongly recommend!!

So to the entire Tipp FM team - Au Revoir, and thanks. 💙💛

THE AMAZING WEEK THAT JUST WON'T END!!!

I couldn't attend the annual awards ceremony at my secondary school because we're still editing all of my interviews from Leinster House this week!!

So I just found out that I've won the annual school Science Award!! I had a massive Science year as I won the RTE Special Project Award at the Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition and then scored a Distinction in Science in the Junior Cycle this week, so I'm truly humbled to win this Award!!

And then I came home to find the kindest best wishes from Tánaiste Simon Harris TD congratulating me on my 6 Distinctions in the JC, wow.

This is definitely a wonderful week that just won't end, especially after securing €20million of funding for Assessments of Needs. A million billion thanks to everyone for the thousands of likes & comments over the last few days!! 🩷

THE JUNIOR CYCLE RESULTS ARE IN!!!

I'm absolutely humbled to have received 6 Distinctions from the seven written subjects I took!! A huge thanks to my amazing parents & teachers for their incredible support!! 🩷

And well done to everyone who got their results today - ultimately life isn't about results, it's all about working hard at your passion.

It's been the greatest 24 hours of my life as I secured €20million of Government funding towards AONs, and now to get these exam results is simply mind-boggling, especially as I did it during a year of major campaigning which included sleeping on the street at Leinster House for 50-hours during Storm Bram!!

I'm sure nobody will begrudge me a few hours of r&r to take it all in. A million thanks to everyone who's messaged me or liked my posts over the last few days - it means the world to me!! 💙
