📚 Return to School 2026! 💙

We’re looking forward to welcoming our students back to Dunamase College for the new school year! 🎓✨

📅 Return dates begin Wednesday, 26 August, with different year groups returning throughout the week.

Parents, guardians and students, please check the schedule carefully for your year group’s return date, induction arrangements and finishing times.

☘️ A special mention to our Aonad students - Coláiste Dhún Másc! ☘️
A huge congratulations to Orlaith Ní Thréanlámh, Tara Woodcock and Keeva Harrington, pictured with their Múinteoir i bhFeighil, Chloe Ní Ghealbháin, following their fantastic Leaving Certificate results.

A spectacular achievement, with Keeva receiving over 600 points, and Orlaith and Tara both receiving over 500 points.
These students completed their secondary education through the medium of Irish in our Aonad, making their achievements all the more special. We are incredibly proud of them and wish them every success as they move on to the next chapter.

🎓 Congratulations to the Dunamase College Class of 2026!

It was lovely to welcome our Leaving Certificate students and their families back to Dunamase College today to celebrate their results. Students had the opportunity to meet with their teachers, enjoy some refreshments and celebrate their achievements together.

We are extremely proud of this year’s results, with 20% of students achieving over 500 points and 50% achieving over 400 points. A special congratulations also to two of our students who achieved over 600 points, a fantastic achievement.
Mrs. Kelly said, “We are so proud of all our Leaving Certificate students and what they have achieved. It was wonderful to welcome them and their families back to the school today and celebrate with them. We wish each and every one of them the very best as they move on to the next stage of their lives, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for them.”

A big thank you to our teachers and staff for all their support and encouragement throughout the students’ time at Dunamase College, and to the parents and families who joined us today.

🎓 Leaving Cert Results Day 2026 🎓

We’re looking forward to welcoming the Class of 2025/26 back to Dunamase College tomorrow, Friday 21st August at 11am, to celebrate their Leaving Cert results! 💙🎉

Parents are very welcome to join us, with tea and coffee available in Railway Street. Brian, our Guidance Counsellor, will also be available to answer any questions and offer support with next steps.

A huge congratulations to all of our students on reaching this milestone. We’re incredibly proud of you and wish you every success in whatever comes next! 🌟

Chloe Ní Lochlain (3rd year Aonad) and team members from Buggie School of Irish Dancing, Co Laois are All Ireland four hand u15 winners 💙🤍 🏆

Chloe also danced in the eight hand u15 where Chloe and her members placed 2nd 🥈
