We can’t believe how fast the summer has flown by.

We are busy behind the scenes getting ready to open tomorrow, Thursday the 27th for a new term of Preschool & Afterschool. We cannot wait to welcome you all back and to welcome some new friends to Sugradh Kildorrery. 🤗

We would also like to wish all our Preschoolers who graduated with us back in June and all the boys and girls starting tomorrow the very best of luck as they start their new adventure in Primary School. We hope you have an amazing first day.

Remember, You’ve got this! We know you will all do an amazing job ⭐

Some of the fantastic creations we had this week at Lego Club! Different teams grouped up together with a colour and had the challenge of coming up with an idea and then making it as a team. Great work everyone! We can’t wait to get back to creating again after the Easter Break 🥳

We were delighted to bring our first ever Lego Club to Sugradh Kildorrery last term.

We had a brilliant 6 weeks with a fantastic bunch of Afterschoolers who showed amazing creativity, innovation and most importantly team work!

We began every session with the group coming together to have a “team meeting” and a warm up round!

We introduced different Lego challenges, like a quick build challenge where everyone had 5 minutes to build whatever came to mind and then a discussion round about what they all had made.

We had the opportunity to explore different Lego technics which we had for our group activities. Each group had a different technic to work with to build together. Many skills were introduced like team work, communication skills and following instructions.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our first block of Lego Club we are delighted to be returning with a second block starting on Monday the 12th of January!

Our Afterschoolers were busy this term and getting ready for Christmas with some Christmas baking and Arts and craft! We made cookies, chocolate gingerbread men and yummy wrap pizzas!
