✨ Welcome to our New First Years! ✨
We had a fantastic day welcoming our new First Years to the school! 🎉
Their day included getting familiar with the school facilities, layout and IT systems. Each class then in turn took part in a range of fun activities and ice-breakers and were supported throughout the day by our excellent Fifth Year mentors and teachers. 👏
It has been wonderful to see how quickly they settled in and embraced their new surroundings.
Throughout next week, they’ll be finding their way around the school, getting used to their new timetables and getting to know their teachers and classmates.
We are incredibly proud of how well they have adjusted today and look forward to seeing them thrive in the weeks, months and years ahead! 💙

A few busy weeks lie ahead as you all prepare to embark on your next chapter. Here are some key upcoming dates for you to note.

Leaving Cert Results are available from 10am on Friday 21st August. Students can access results through your online schools portal or pick up a physical copy at school 🏫

In Loving Memory of Alice

It is with great sadness that we remember Alice, a truly wonderful lady who used to work in our school and whose family have many connections to our school community.

Alice was a pleasure to work with and approached everything she did with kindness and dedication. Her warmth, gentle nature and unwavering commitment touched the lives of so many. She will be remembered with great affection by all who knew her.

Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with Alice’s family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

May she rest in peace. 🕊️

Mrs Kathleen Simpson our former teaching colleague in Presentation Ballingarry passed away yesterday. A dedicated teacher of Gaeilge, English, Drama and a great colleague. Kathleen had an innate decency and kindness that helped all of us over her long and dedicated service in our school. We remember her generosity, inculcation of high standards and faithful commitment to her students. Kathleen regularly used her exceptional culinary skills to bring in treats for the 11 o clock break. A proud Tipperary woman Kathleen had a great enthusiasm for Hurling, Dogs, rural life and the achievements of her past pupils, school and community. Kathleen’s funeral takes place tomorrow & Thursday in Mullinahone, Drangan and in her & Tom’s beloved Crohane.

🎓✨ Our Class of 2026 celebrated their Graduation Mass last night in our school. Mass was celebrated by Fr. Walton and it was a wonderful evening filled with celebration, music 🎶, reflection 💭 and great conversation 😊.

A huge thank you to Ms. O. Maher, Ms. Horan, Ms. A. Maher, Mr. McGrath and Ms. Costello for organising such a special occasion 👏. A special shout out also to Ms. Maher’s music class 🎤🎼 who provided the beautiful music throughout the ceremony.

Congratulations once again to our amazing Class of 2026 🎓💙. You have been a wonderful group and will be sorely missed by the entire school community. Wishing you all the very best in the future 🌟
