Lots of football and hurling opportunities for boys from 6-14 in Edenderry GAA

Calling all boys from U7-U14 to come down to Edenderry GAA and give hurling, football or both a try. Or if you've been away from it for a while, maybe now's the time to give it another go. Come and learn a new skill and make new friends.....you won't regret it!

Edenderry GAA are open to new players joining ladies football and camogie. Everyone is welcome to come and give it a try.

A big welcome to all girls from U7-U14 to come down to give football, camogie or both a try. Training is fun, accessible and open to all. So come to Edenderry GAA and make new friends, or hang out with old ones and learn new skills.

A huge day awaits our school this Thursday as both our boys hurling team and girls camogie players take to the field in the Cumann na mBunscoil finals in O' Connor Park Tullamore.

First up is the Saint Marys/Saint Patrick's camogie team which will throw in @ 11:45. This is an especially historic moment for our school as this is the first time that camogie players from our school will play in a Cumann na mBunscol final! The girls have shown incredible commitment, teamwork and determination throughout the year and we are very proud of them making history for our school.

At 12:45, we have a local derby as our boys hurling team take on Saint Marys Edenderry in what is guaranteed to be an epic game of hurling.

We wish both panels the very best of luck on Thursday. Your school community is immensely proud of you.

We would love to see plenty of support in the stands if possible for this double header. Please note that supporters admission for the final is €5.

Best of luck to the boys and girls! Saint Patrick's abú!

A huge thank you to K*k Sool Won for visiting our school during Active Week and giving fantastic martial arts lessons to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes! 🥋

The children had an amazing time learning new skills, building confidence, and staying active while having lots of fun.
