Last week We had 2 candidates for EEC1/EEC2 ABA international chainsaw maintenance, cross cutting and small tree felling training, assessments coming up this week. FAR(PHEEC first aid responder) and emergency care for Forestery and tree surgery (Rescue emergency care certified) courses available.

The course can be ran as a full course, FAR and Emergency care for Forestery and tree surgery, or if you already have FAR and require a refresher with the follow on of Emergency care for Forestery and tree surgery.

The emergency care for Forestery and tree surgery course complies with the health and safety authority requirements for specialised training within our industry and officially certified by REC. The course consist's of realistic scenario's within tree care and forestry, the use of hemorrhage control in traumatic situations including tourniquet use, crush injuries, suspension trauma and extraction from remote area's, splint use on broken limbs, use of methods to keep patients comfortable within remote area's while awaiting for emergency services if extraction is not an option. This course is incredibly detailed and delivered by a frontline emergency paramedic with years of experience in outdoor persuits and excellent knowledge of the industry, having dealt with injuries from tree work.

Training and certification, especially on farms, now being signed into legislation, to come into effect in 2023. We can provide training at our own facility, or if you have a minimum group of 4, we can come to you, anywhere in the country.
